Not a Government Office or Records Custodian. This is a private reference site. We cannot obtain or certify copies, verify who lives at an address, or change a name in an official database. Send those requests to the office that holds the record. For an emergency, call 911. If stalking or harassment is occurring, contact local police.
Need a Particular Mesquite Record?
Use the record type, not a name alone, to choose the proper Mesquite or Clark County route:
- Parcel or recorded-document question: use the By Street directory for Assessor and Recorder routing
- Historic household or directory lead: use Mesquite City Directories and ask the library about its exact holdings
- One person and an official record trail: see the Mesquite Resident Lookup route
- Office responsibilities: consult the Mesquite records offices directory before contacting a custodian
- City records not online: make a narrow request under the Nevada Public Records Act, NRS Chapter 239, to the city department that holds the record

The City Clerk is the primary city-records contact for council proceedings, ordinances, resolutions, proclamations, agendas and notices, municipal-election records, and city public-records requests. For a permit or building-record issue, route the request to the Building Division. Clark County, courts, elections, police, and Nevada Vital Records are separate custodians. Under NRS 239.0107, an agency generally has five business days to provide a record, acknowledge and estimate a production date, or cite the reason a record is withheld.
